In Harry's lesson we had an introduction to the skills we would bring onto the oncoming units in the second year. This was quite helpful as I managed to get a recap on the basic terms and processes to complete my work for second year. We did this recap process by brainstorming in a group which was helpful because it helped to regain my rusty communication skills.
After Harry's lesson we had Callum who was teaching us the media aspects of different media subjects. He was really good and helpful at explaining what audience clarification meant and by the end of the lesson I defined it as audience clarification is the first stage in which a demographic group is created. Callum also, showed us some food adverts and got us to answer some questions about the audience clarification. I found this lesson really helpful and interesting and I'm very clear about what I have to do the assignment sheet I was given.
Wednesday 15th -
In the afternoon, I had Harry's lesson in this lesson we continued with Callums worksheet which gave me a head start on this worksheet. I got stuck in with the first few questions and managed to find out some research about these companies.
Also, we covered a win learn change technique which helped me find out which attributes I have. In addition, Harry gave out a time work to look on how we manage our time during the day.
